About the Journal

AKSIOLOGI: Journal of Community Development is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality research on community development, community empowerment, and sustainable development. The journal provides a platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, policymakers, and development professionals to disseminate innovative research, evidence-based practices, and interdisciplinary approaches that contribute to improving community well-being and addressing contemporary social, economic, environmental, and governance challenges.

The journal welcomes original research and review articles covering participatory development, social innovation, local economic development, education, public health, environmental sustainability, digital transformation, disaster resilience, community governance, and other topics related to sustainable and inclusive community development.

presents five articles focusing on community empowerment, local economic development, social innovation, sustainable agriculture, tourism, and the preservation of local wisdom. This issue discusses PKK community assistance in developing MSMEs through an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, social innovation and regenerative agriculture for empowering dryland farmers, digital marketing strategies for village MSMEs, community-based development of Gunung Badut tourism destination in Ponorogo, and the role of traditional herbal medicine (jamu) MSMEs in preserving local wisdom while strengthening the community economy. Collectively, these studies emphasize the importance of utilizing local assets, strengthening community capacity, promoting social and economic innovation, and integrating sustainability and local wisdom into community development.
