presents five articles focusing on community empowerment and local development initiatives. This issue explores urban farming strategies for achieving food self-sufficiency, capacity building for local government organizations through the Family Development Index, the application of appropriate technology to strengthen MSMEs, the organization of women’s groups (PKK) to develop local economic opportunities through conch-based products, and community-based coastal tourism development. Collectively, these studies highlight the importance of participatory approaches, local innovation, community capacity building, and the sustainable utilization of local resources in strengthening community resilience and promoting inclusive development.
