Abstract

The phenomenon of bullying among school-aged children remains a serious threat to their mental health and development, yet its handling often tends to be partial and solely focused on the school environment. This study aims to formulate and analyze a comprehensive ecosystem-based bullying mitigation model for school-aged children through the synergy of family, school, and community counseling. This study employed a qualitative approach using a systematic literature review method, analyzing relevant literature from reputable national and international journals published over the past five years. The findings reveal that effective bullying mitigation requires the integration of three main domains: (1) the family environment through parenting psychoeducation and emotional literacy strengthening; (2) the school environment through the optimization of Guidance and Counseling services and child-friendly school policies; and (3) the community through peer-counselor training and the cultivation of an upstander culture in community counseling. The implications of this study emphasize the urgency of cross-sectoral collaboration, positioning counselors as primary facilitators in building a safe, responsive, and supportive ecosystem for child bullying prevention and intervention.
